Is what it is,
No matter how we got here.

And first, they disarmed in themselves, those thoughts and beliefs that created turmoil in their souls. The mere desire to do so was enough. It was like breathing one great breath together, a wonderful relief, and a dawning of possibility.

Those who reach power, and exercise that power greedily and unfairly, with violence and derision, do so because they believe that those things are necessary. And so do their followers.

And all who suffer great threat, trauma, poverty; those who's freedoms are taken, they are the fighters. From them we know what survival in the modern world is like, and we know what's possible. They have the choice to die. Many choose to live and find meaning. What better lesson is there?

First, pause, wherever you are, and breathe. Remember and cherish the ability to breathe.

Then, believe better. Think the best thought you can, about yourself, about the world.

Then, see where that thought leads you.

If others can build worlds and wars on destruction, why not the same for peace?

How belief works.

As long as people believe that killing is necessary, there will always be people worth killing.

Believe in the best, even if it's scary. Do it for your sake first. Others will follow.
